Israeli Police Detain Contractor and Others Over Suspected Multi-Million Shekel Property Concealment
Israeli police detained a contractor, a former businessman, and additional suspects this morning on suspicion of concealing real estate assets valued at tens of millions of shekels. The main suspect, who has been undergoing bankruptcy proceedings since 2012, is alleged to have hidden ownership rights in various properties and even transferred assets under his control to evade detection. The investigation revealed that the suspects systematically concealed their property rights from authorities. Following the transition to an open investigation, a significant amount of property was seized with the intent to confiscate it during subsequent legal proceedings.
