Israeli police apprehended two young men from the towns of I'billin and Ibtin following a dangerous high-speed chase on Route 781 near Shefa-Amr in early August. During the pursuit, police officers from the Border Police's Security Division and the Northern District's Yamam unit fired at the vehicle's tires to stop it.
As the suspects fled, they threw a Glock pistol out of the car window, which was subsequently recovered by the police. Both individuals were arrested at the scene.
