Virtual conference to unveil the training method behind a growing pool of relationship coaches
The Ometz HaKesher Institute will hold a virtual conference on Tuesday, 1 Tammuz, at 8:00 p.m. on Zoom, where founder Nechama Bitkuber will present the seven principles behind its method for emotional coaching toward marriage. The event will also feature a panel of graduates who will describe how they built successful clinics, and it will include emotional theater segments from the clinic by the Middale Theater troupe. The institute says its approach has built a strong reputation because it has helped more than 2,000 couples establish homes after going through the institute's in-depth coaching process. That success, it says, has created high demand for its graduates and led Bitkuber to open another round of the institute's training program.
According to the institute, the course gives graduates a profession that combines a sense of mission with respectable income. Graduates include eighth-grade educators, rabbis, lecturers in seminaries, therapists, and coaches who wanted to add tools and specialize in emotional coaching using the Ometz HaKesher method. The institute says the training is offered with practical experience and close supervision.
Several graduates described how the program helped them enter the field. Geula Mills said the course stood out because it offered practical tools, real practicum work, and direct experience with actual cases, not just theory. She said the training gave her confidence to open her own clinic immediately and that she has since accompanied dozens of women until they reached marriage. Sarah Shtivia said the program gave her the tools to move from dorm mother work into the field, and later brought her private clients, workshops, and classes. Renana Bleish and Shiral Shkalim also praised the supervised internship and the focus on strengths and positive coaching. Sarah concluded that anyone who feels a mission in helping single women can start there, even without previous training, because the program combines coaching, therapeutic tools, practice, and guidance, alongside a good livelihood.
