Online Women's Conference to Focus on Spiritual Preparation for New Year

An online conference for women, titled 'Opening the Gates of Repentance,' is being organized by the organization Yad L'Achim to provide spiritual and emotional preparation for the upcoming Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur. The event aims to offer women an empowering experience of inner connection, renewal, and practical tools for personal growth during the days of mercy and forgiveness.

The conference will feature author and presenter Efrat Barzel, who will lead a session on personal development and finding inner strength, offering insights and practical tools for change. Media personality Sivan Rahav-Meir will deliver a lesson focusing on women's identity in the current era, emphasizing the concept of heart renewal and its application in daily life leading up to the High Holidays.

A central part of the conference will be an open interview with Michal Thaumi, who will share her life story. Thaumi's narrative details a complex journey across continents and generations, from a childhood spent hiding her roots to a conscious choice of Judaism and repentance. Her story highlights the human capacity for resilience, choosing life, and growing anew from challenging circumstances.
