Online Yom Kippur Conference for Women Announced by Yad L'Achim
An online conference for women, titled "Opening the Gates of Repentance," will be held in preparation for Yom Kippur. The event, organized by Yad L'Achim, aims to provide spiritual and emotional preparation for the new year, focusing on personal growth, identity, and faith.
The conference will feature prominent Israeli women, including author and presenter Efrat Barzel, media personality Sivan Rahav-Meir, and Michal Taumi. Barzel will lead a discussion on personal development and finding inner strength, offering practical tools for change during the High Holy Days. Rahav-Meir will deliver a special lesson on women's identity in the current era, emphasizing the concept of heart renewal and its application in daily life leading up to the Day of Judgment.
A central part of the conference will be an interview with Michal Taumi, who will share her personal journey from a childhood of hidden roots to a conscious choice of Judaism and repentance. Her story is intended to offer a powerful perspective on human resilience and the ability to grow from challenging circumstances.
Yad L'Achim stated that the conference is designed to equip women with spiritual and emotional resources, deep inspiration, and a genuine connection to the Days of Awe, enabling them to enter the new year with strength, identity, and faith. Registration for the event is free of charge.
