Professional Seminar Offers Tools for Guiding Singles Toward Marriage

Three Israeli organizations, "Oumek HaKkesher" Institute, "Shirat Malach," and "Shagririm BaLev," are jointly hosting a free professional online seminar on September 16th at 8:00 PM via Zoom. The event, titled "Guiding to the Chuppah - With Love and Professionalism," aims to equip women who guide single individuals toward marriage with practical tools and deeper understanding.

Nehama Bitkover, founder of the "Oumek HaKkesher" Institute, will lead a session focusing on the professional skills needed to truly assist singles. She emphasizes that effective guidance goes beyond finding matches or offering advice, requiring an understanding of underlying issues, recurring patterns, decision-making processes, and how individuals approach relationships.

Uriel Lux, CEO of "Shagririm BaLev," will address why seemingly good matchmaking proposals are rejected before initial meetings and how to present them effectively to foster openness. The "Shirat Malach" presentation will explore the significant influence of a single's relationship with their parents on their choices, dates, and decision-making in relationships, even when the individual is unaware of this impact.

The seminar is designed for professionals, therapists, educators, and anyone accompanying single women, as well as mothers, friends, and those seeking to professionalize their role in guiding singles. The goal is to transition from general advice to precise, professional guidance, enabling participants to better understand individuals, identify challenges, and tailor support strategies.
