The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it eliminated Sharif Al-Hasanat, a Hamas platoon commander, in the Deir al-Balah area earlier today. According to the IDF spokesperson, Al-Hasanat led a platoon in the Deir al-Balah battalion of Hamas's military wing and posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces. Throughout the ongoing conflict, he was involved in efforts to rebuild Hamas's underground infrastructure. Recently, he continued to orchestrate terror plans targeting IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.
