A serious disturbance erupted on Avinoam Yellin Street in Jerusalem when the Karlin Rebbe arrived at his study hall for his grandson's bar mitzvah celebration. Dozens of extremist ultra-Orthodox protesters shouted "Get out, impure" at the Rebbe and later attempted to prevent him from leaving the venue. The confrontation escalated into violent clashes around the Karlin Rebbe during the event.
