Dushinsky Rebbe Visits Jerusalem's Glatt Poultry Plant for Mezuzah Dedication

Last week, the Dushinsky Rebbe made a rare and significant visit to the Glatt Poultry slaughterhouse in Jerusalem to participate in the mezuzah dedication ceremony at its newly established product facility. The plant was developed with great care and strict adherence to kosher laws and high standards throughout all production stages. During his visit, the Rebbe toured the slaughterhouse accompanied by members of the Haredi community's slaughter committee, closely observing the slaughtering, training, and production processes, emphasizing the special stringencies maintained there. He also fulfilled the mitzvah of covering the blood with earth during the tour.

Following the tour, the Rebbe arrived at the new product plant where the mezuzah was affixed. A celebratory "L'chaim" event followed, during which the Rebbe warmly blessed the factory owners, management, and workers, wishing them continued success in producing products with the highest kosher standards. He highlighted the unique merit of the plant's staff, noting that the owners, managers, and workers are God-fearing individuals who fully understand the responsibility of providing kosher food to the faithful community. The Rebbe described this as a rare and special occurrence and prayed for divine assistance and great success in their sacred work.

The visit left a strong impression on the factory's management and employees, who received the Rebbe's holy blessing and encouragement to maintain and strengthen their dedication to the highest levels of kashrut and to continue supplying premium kosher products to the devout public.
