Maccabi Tel Aviv is preparing to free up a foreign player slot by loaning winger Henry Edoo to Tondela, a club competing in Portugal's second division. The Ghanaian player will join Tondela on a season-long loan with an option for the Portuguese club to purchase him permanently. Since returning from a loan spell at OFK Belgrade in Serbia, Edoo has been training separately from the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad after being informed he is not part of the club's future plans. This move is expected to resolve the club's foreign player quota issue, allowing Maccabi Tel Aviv to sign another foreign player in his place.
