IDF confirms killing of senior Hezbollah commander Ali Musa Daqduq

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the killing of Ali Musa Daqduq, a senior Hezbollah commander and former head of the group’s Golan File. According to the IDF spokesperson, he was killed south of the Litani River on Friday.

Daqduq held a series of key roles inside Hezbollah. The military said he had served as the commander of Hassan Nasrallah’s security team, as a commander in the Radwan Force, and as the head of the “Golan File,” an operational unit tasked with helping Hezbollah entrench itself in Syria and build military infrastructure near Israel’s border.
