Israeli footballer Manor Solomon, currently contracted with Tottenham Hotspur, will not be signing with West Ham United after the two clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee, according to a report by The Athletic on Thursday. Solomon still has two years remaining on his Tottenham contract but is not included in the club's professional plans, prompting him to seek a new team. He is keen to remain in England and was expected to become a key player for West Ham, but now may have to consider moving to a different league.
Reports from England suggest that West Ham's decision not to sign Solomon may also be influenced by concerns over fan reactions due to his Israeli background. Since joining Tottenham in 2023, Solomon has been loaned out to Leeds United, Villarreal, and Fiorentina. Meanwhile, other Israeli players continue to secure lucrative contracts abroad, with Daniel Peretz recently signing a four-year deal with Southampton.
