Manor Solomon, the 27-year-old Israeli winger currently on Tottenham Hotspur's roster, continues to seek a club for the upcoming season despite strong preseason performances. According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, transfer talks between West Ham United and Tottenham have stalled due to financial disagreements. West Ham, recently relegated to the English Championship, is reportedly willing to pay around £5 million for Solomon but refuses to meet Tottenham's demands for additional bonuses contingent on promotion back to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina remains interested in signing Solomon but has yet to offer the financial terms Tottenham requires. Last season, Solomon was loaned to Villarreal and Fiorentina, scoring three goals in 22 appearances across La Liga and Serie A. In the 2024/25 Championship season, he scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 39 matches for Leeds United, helping them secure promotion to the Premier League.
The ongoing negotiations highlight the financial complexities surrounding Solomon's transfer, with Tottenham seeking to maximize the return on a player who has proven his value in both English and European leagues. The outcome of these talks will determine Solomon's club destination for the new season.
