Satmar Jerusalem Rabbi Dedicates New Yeshiva Study Hall in US Country Hills Camp

The story · English

On Saturday night, a special dedication ceremony was held at the new "Yavo Chaim" study hall located in the "Machane Israel" camp of the Satmar Hasidic community in the Country Hills area of the United States. This new and elegant study hall was established specifically for the camp's prominent Torah scholars and senior instructors to engage in Torah study and spiritual growth during the summer months.

The event was led by Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum, the eldest son of the Satmar Rebbe and the chief rabbi of the Satmar community in Jerusalem. Rabbi Teitelbaum honored the occasion by affixing mezuzot on the doorposts of the new study hall and delivered the main address, emphasizing the significance of the location and the responsibilities of Torah teachers.

The joyous dedication was combined with an emotional "Siyum Seder Kodashim" ceremony, marking the completion of the Kodashim order of the Talmud by dozens of camp residents who studied diligently as part of the "Zichru Torat Moshe" group. The event highlighted the community's commitment to Torah study and spiritual excellence.
