Following U.S. President Donald Trump's assertion that a framework agreement had been reached to immediately and fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, senior Iranian officials have strongly denied such claims. Sources close to Iran's leadership told the state-affiliated Fars News Agency that no agreement exists regarding the reopening of the strategic waterway, labeling reports of a deal as false.
