Israeli Man Stabbed at Ozora Music Festival in Hungary, Two Suspects Arrested

An Israeli man in his 30s was stabbed this week at the Ozora Arts Festival in central Hungary and was hospitalized, according to the Fejer County Police. The incident occurred on Tuesday when a festival security staff member alerted police after the stabbing. Authorities arrested two men on suspicion of aggravated assault related to the attack. The police stated they will continue heightened security checks and work closely with festival organizers to ensure attendee safety.

Earlier that week, on Monday, a Belgian, an Israeli, and a Portuguese individual were detained at the festival for drug sales, with investigations opened against them for drug trafficking. The stabbing incident adds to recent concerns about Israeli visitors facing violence abroad, including attacks in Montenegro and threats in Italy, where a mayor received a letter containing a bullet warning against accepting Israelis.

The police emphasized their commitment to maintaining security at the festival and preventing further incidents.
