Religious Zionist Families Honored for Supporting Torah Study in Gush Etzion

Hundreds of families of Torah scholars from the Religious Zionist community gathered in Gush Etzion on Wednesday for a special appreciation event organized by the Toratam Omanutan Forum, representing the wives of scholars. The event took place during the Bein Hazmanim vacation period, just before the scholars return to their regular study schedules in yeshivas and kollels. It aimed to honor not only the Torah learners but also their wives and children who share the burden of the family and national mission of Torah study.

The event featured large inflatable play areas, magic shows, art workshops, and a gymboree area tailored for young children, providing a shared experience and respite for the families. Naama Mushkovitz, CEO of the Toratam Omanutan Forum, explained that the goal was to express gratitude to the families enabling continuous Torah study throughout the year. She emphasized the national importance of this mission, calling the families "heroes of the Torah" and highlighting their role in upholding Israel's values and resilience.

The forum, together with the Association of High Yeshivas, sought to publicly recognize the dedication of the scholars, their wives, and children, who collectively contribute to what they described as the most important national task: the study of Torah as the source of Israel's values and national strength. The event provided a meaningful moment of thanks and community bonding ahead of the scholars' return to their studies.
