The Nahal Ayun Nature Reserve in northern Israel has reopened its beloved circular hiking trail descending from the Gafni Lookout following extensive rehabilitation work. The reopening expands hiking options in the Upper Galilee and makes the reserve more accessible and safe after being closed for a long period, partly due to the recent conflict. The Nature and Parks Authority urges visitors to stay on marked trails, hike during permitted hours, carry water and sun protection, and respect wildlife by maintaining distance and not feeding animals.
