The story · English

The Jerusalem Municipality inaugurated a new multipurpose building in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood to serve as a club for branches of the Ariel youth movement. The opening ceremony was attended by Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, the movement's rabbi Aryeh Betzalel, representatives from the municipality, Mifal HaPais, and youth members of the movement. Also present were Deputy Mayor Hagit Moshe, Community Administration Chairperson, Council Member Yehuda Freidiger, and the movement's secretary-general Elchanan Wolf.

Mayor Lion described the new facility as an important development for Pisgat Ze'ev residents and Ariel youth members, emphasizing that the sports hall and new branch, established in cooperation with Mifal HaPais, will be a vibrant center for education, values, and community volunteering benefiting the neighborhood and the entire city. He pledged continued investment in public buildings and educational and community initiatives for Jerusalem's residents.

Rabbi Aryeh Betzalel expressed gratitude to the mayor and public representatives for their investment in the city, highlighting the spiritual connection to the land of Israel and honoring the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Jewish people. He affirmed the unity of the land, Torah, and people of Israel.
