El Al Launches AI-Powered Safety Videos Featuring Israeli Celebrities After Nearly a Decade

After nearly ten years of using the same safety video starring Lior Sussard, Israeli airline El Al is unveiling a new series of safety videos featuring four prominent Israeli figures: Hollywood actress Gal Gadot, NBA star Deni Avdija, actor and creator Lior Raz, and TV presenter and actress Rotem Sela. These new videos will debut on all El Al flights starting August.

The airline is introducing a dynamic approach by employing artificial intelligence technology to create multiple versions of the safety videos. Instead of a single uniform video, passengers will see different versions tailored to their flight destinations, with about ten variations produced so far. Some versions include specific content and recommendations relevant to particular routes, enhancing the viewing experience.

This AI-driven method allows El Al to continuously update and customize safety instructions, moving away from the static, decade-old video. The campaign marks a significant modernization of the airline's in-flight safety communication, combining star power with innovative technology to engage passengers more effectively.
