Israel Intensifies Security Coordination in Middle East Amid Potential Iran Escalation

Israel's security establishment is engaged in intensive talks with Middle Eastern countries in preparation for a possible expansion of American attacks on Iran. These discussions, conducted alongside close cooperation with Washington, aim to strengthen regional security coordination in anticipation of a broader escalation if the US increases the intensity of its strikes within Iranian territory. An Israeli official noted that during Operation "Roaring Lion," Israel maintained contact with regional states that recognize the threat posed by the Iranian regime, and these communications have continued and intensified.

As part of regional preparations, the US has deployed additional assets and infrastructure in the area to support allied countries, including Israel, in countering threats from Tehran. Jerusalem seeks to renew military pressure and strikes against Iran, considering not only targeting nuclear facilities but also energy infrastructure and refineries to exert significant leverage compelling Iran to abandon its nuclear program.

Amid rising security tensions, Israeli President Isaac Herzog held a phone conversation with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. They discussed ways to deepen bilateral relations and the importance of the Abraham Accords, led by the US, in ensuring security, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East. Herzog praised the king's leadership and vision and thanked him for his contributions to advancing peace in the region.
