Israel's Yesodot Party Passes Electoral Threshold, Likud and Yisrael Achieve 22 Seats Each

A new Maariv poll reveals that the Israel Foundations (Yesodot Israel) party, led by Hili Trooper and Yoaz Hendel, has crossed the electoral threshold for the first time, securing four Knesset seats. The Likud party and Gadi Eizenkot's Yisrael party each maintain strong showings with 22 seats apiece. Meanwhile, Naftali Bennett's Yachdav party drops to 16 seats, losing two from previous counts.

The Democratic party under Yair Golan rises to 11 seats, while Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu falls to nine. Within the coalition bloc, Likud gains one seat to 22, Shas and Otzma Yehudit each decline to seven seats, United Torah Judaism holds steady at eight, and Religious Zionism remains at four seats. Among Arab parties, Hadash-Ta'al falls to five seats, Ra'am remains at five, and both Balad and Blue and White fail to pass the threshold with 2% and 1.7% respectively.

The overall bloc distribution shows Netanyahu's coalition at 48 seats, with the Zionist opposition, including Trooper and Hendel's party, at 62 seats. Arab parties collectively hold ten seats. The poll also highlights that 83% of opposition voters oppose including ultra-Orthodox parties in the next coalition, compared to 8% in favor. Among coalition voters, 59% support including the ultra-Orthodox, while 19% oppose.

Additionally, 55% of Israelis lack confidence that the government will make the right decisions before the election day, with 38% expressing trust. The survey was conducted by Lazar Research under Dr. Menachem Lazar, in cooperation with the online panel All4Panel.
