Israeli Police Deploy Snipers in Crime Hotspots to Curb Violence in Arab Communities

In response to escalating violence and a wave of murders in Arab communities, the Israeli police have initiated a significant operational shift by deploying snipers on rooftops in crime hotspots across the country. This directive, which began about a year ago in the Bedouin diaspora, is now expanding to mixed cities such as Ramla and Lod, as well as other locations in the north and south where intense criminal activity is recorded.
