Tucker Carlson Announces New Third Party to Challenge US Political Establishment

Right-wing podcaster and commentator Tucker Carlson has declared his intention to form a new third political party in the United States focused exclusively on American citizens' welfare. Speaking to Columbia University's School of Journalism magazine, Carlson criticized both the Democratic and Republican parties for aligning on issues of war and finance, calling the US effectively a one-party state masquerading as a democracy. He said the new party aims to break this duopoly and address urgent domestic issues such as declining life expectancy and the bleak future for American children.

Carlson, who recently left the Republican Party over the Iran war, bluntly stated that he does not care about Hamas or Israel, emphasizing that the US government should prioritize its own citizens. He ruled out running against former President Donald Trump, citing a personal relationship and lack of desire for a power struggle. Carlson has been sharply critical of Trump’s administration, accusing it of betraying the US by engaging in war with Iran under Israeli influence. He claimed the conflict was not about Iran’s nuclear program but an Israeli-led regime change effort.

The commentator also launched strong attacks on Israel’s role in American politics, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of trying to co-opt the MAGA movement for Israeli interests. Carlson described Israel as a resource-poor state irrelevant to American interests unless it interferes in US politics. He accused Israel of apartheid and restricting visas based on political views, while distancing himself from accusations of antisemitism, stating he is not against Jews but against Israeli political influence.

Carlson’s remarks come amid escalating tensions with Trump, who recently called him a "loser" and "broken man" and distanced himself from Carlson’s political stance. Carlson’s son, Buckley, also recently left a White House position, reflecting growing criticism of the administration’s foreign policy. Carlson’s new party plans to focus on internal American issues rather than foreign conflicts, signaling a significant challenge to the current bipartisan system.
