Starting November 4, Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yashar Party, will be placed under state security protection by the Shin Bet. The annual cost for this personal security detail is estimated to be between 3 to 6 million shekels. This expenditure will fund a special unit from Division 730, requiring 250,000 to 500,000 shekels monthly. The sum covers high operational security standards, including 24/7 shift work, an armored convoy, trained drivers, enhanced protection for his private residence, and continuous technological surveillance.

Previously, Eisenkot's security was handled by a private company at a significantly lower cost. However, the Yashar Party headquarters cited an increased physical threat level, based on police assessments, as the reason for the change. An advisory commission approved the state security detail, despite initial opposition from Shin Bet head David Zini regarding the deployment of elite unit personnel.

An interim compromise was reached in August after the Shin Bet's initial refusal. Negotiations involving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu led to a temporary arrangement allowing private guards to carry weapons at events, while the Shin Bet monitored threats and maintained direct contact with Eisenkot's staff. This temporary measure was in effect during the election campaign. Following Eisenkot's status as a candidate for government formation, the situation evolved, leading to the final decision for maximum state protection after comprehensive assessments by the Shin Bet.
