The amnesty initiative, launched at dozens of collection points nationwide, allows soldiers to return military equipment, ammunition, and gear taken during regular or reserve service without facing legal repercussions or needing to identify themselves. In addition to firearms and ammunition, the first day saw the return of about 90 stun and fragmentation grenades, 120 weapon accessories, 80 combat gear items like vests and helmets, and 400 uniform and textile pieces. The program accepts a wide range of military items, including weapons, night vision equipment, communication devices, protective gear, medical supplies, and other military equipment.
