The significant electoral gains by Arab parties in the recent elections are beginning to manifest within the Knesset itself, with the Al-Haq Mosque, located inside the parliament building, currently undergoing renovations. This development follows the substantial success of Arab parties, where the Joint List secured 11 mandates and Ra'am won an additional eight, totaling 19 Knesset members from these parties. The recent elections also saw a notably high voter turnout among the Arab population, reaching approximately 77% of eligible voters, a significant increase from the 53.2% turnout in the 2022 elections. Turnout in the Negev region neared 80%, with some unrecognized Bedouin villages experiencing a particularly sharp rise in participation.

Alongside these political achievements, the recent elections are also under scrutiny due to suspicions of foreign interference and attempts to influence voting patterns within the Arab community. According to reports, the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Sohlberg, approached the Head of the Shin Bet, David Zini, based on intelligence indicating potential foreign funding and efforts to sway election results. The Shin Bet clarified that the information was gathered as part of their ongoing efforts to detect foreign influence and was not provided by any political entity.
