Leeds United Interested in Signing Maccabi Tel Aviv Midfielder Issouf Sissoko

English Premier League club Leeds United has reportedly identified Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Issouf Sissoko as a transfer target. While Leeds did not pursue a move for Sissoko in the summer, they have continued to monitor his progress and may attempt to sign him in the January transfer window. Sissoko has less than a year remaining on his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, and although the club holds an option to extend it by another year, they might allow him to leave.

If Leeds decides to make a move for Sissoko in January, it is believed they would not face significant difficulty in convincing the player to depart from Maccabi Tel Aviv. Sissoko is reportedly keen on a transfer to the Premier League and playing for Leeds, who might offer a reduced transfer fee for his release during the January window.

Earlier this week, reports also indicated that Spanish club Valencia and Portuguese club Braga had marked Sissoko as a potential midfield reinforcement. Valencia is reportedly preparing an initial offer of approximately 3 million euros, which they expect to submit to Maccabi Tel Aviv soon.
