Beitar Jerusalem Coach Seeks Final Attacking Polish

Beitar Jerusalem coach Almog Cohen expressed satisfaction with his team's defensive improvements ahead of their Saturday match against Ironi Kiryat Shmona. The team has not conceded a goal in their last three games, a statistic Cohen highlighted as a significant improvement.

Despite the strong defense, Cohen noted that the team still needs to refine its attacking play. He stated that while they create many chances, the final pass and dribble are still lacking, preventing them from fully capitalizing on opportunities. "We are still missing the last pass and the last dribble, and it hasn't fully clicked yet," Cohen said.

Looking ahead to the match against Kiryat Shmona, Cohen acknowledged the opponent's quality, stating that they play good, high-level football and deserve better results than they have achieved. He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation and readiness for the game.

Cohen also addressed the perception that top teams easily gain points, disagreeing with the notion. He believes any team in the league can be a threat if not approached with maximum preparation. He is confident that if Beitar Jerusalem remains focused and continues on their current path, they will achieve victory.

The team has also adjusted training times to prepare for the unusual kickoff time of the upcoming match, aiming to acclimate players to the expected conditions. Cohen praised his players' proactive and winning attitude, stating that their drive to win in every game is crucial.
