As the vote count for Israel's 26th Knesset elections nears completion, the political deadlock remains unresolved. With approximately 96.1% of votes tallied, including 40,421 ballots from double envelopes, the Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, continues to lead with 27 seats. Yesh Atid, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, is in second place with 21 seats, followed by Naftali Bennett's Yamina with 12 seats. The Joint List secured 11 seats, while Yair Golan's Democratic Party and Mansour Abbas's Ra'am each garnered 8 seats.
In the mid-sized parties, Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu, Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit, and United Torah Judaism each obtained 7 seats. In contrast, Shas and Bezalel Smotrich's Religious Zionism movement received significantly lower results, with 6 seats each.
Parties failing to cross the 3.25% electoral threshold include the Miluimnikim party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelicha, which remains at 2.68% of the vote. Similarly, the Amcha Yisrael party, headed by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, will not enter the Knesset, having secured only 1.63% of the votes.
The bloc map remains inconclusive even after accounting for soldiers', sailors', and double-envelope votes. The coalition led by Netanyahu, comprising Likud, Otzma Yehudit, Religious Zionism, Shas, and United Torah Judaism, currently stands at 53 seats. The opposition bloc, including Yesh Atid, Yamina, the Democratic Party, and Yisrael Beiteinu, holds 48 seats. The two Arab parties, the Joint List and Ra'am, together account for 19 seats.
