Following the completion of vote counting for the Knesset elections, preliminary results indicate that neither of the two main political blocs will achieve the required 61 seats for a majority. The bloc supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is projected to win 53 seats, while the "change bloc" is expected to secure 48 seats. Arab parties collectively hold 19 seats.
The Likud party, led by Netanyahu, is the largest single party with 27 seats. The Yesh! party, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, follows with 21 seats. Naftali Bennett's Together party is projected to receive 12 seats, and the Joint List has 11 seats.
Within Netanyahu's bloc, Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, is expected to win seven seats, as are United Torah Judaism and Shas. Religious Zionism and Identity, led by Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin respectively, are projected to gain six seats. This brings Netanyahu's bloc to a total of 53 seats, eight short of a majority.
The change bloc comprises Eisenkot's Yesh! (21 seats), Bennett's Together (12 seats), Yair Golan's Democrats (eight seats), and Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu (seven seats), totaling 48 seats, which is 13 seats shy of a majority.
Arab parties, including the Joint List (11 seats) and Ra'am (eight seats), hold 19 seats. While a numerical combination of the change bloc and Arab parties reaches 67 seats, this does not imply political agreement.
More than 5.6 million votes have been counted out of over 5.7 million eligible voters. Two additional parties, the Reservists and Economic party (led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha) and the Am Israel party (led by Ofer Vinter), are not expected to pass the electoral threshold.
