Toto Cup Final Prize Money and New Trophy Revealed

The final of the Toto Cup, a significant Israeli football competition, is set to feature a highly anticipated match between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv at Bloomfield Stadium, with an expected attendance of 12,500 fans for each team. Beyond the sporting rivalry, the financial implications of winning the trophy are substantial. The winning team will receive a prize of 900,000 shekels, while the runner-up will be awarded 650,000 shekels.

The League Management is reportedly describing this match as the most expensive in Israeli football history due to security costs. The event will involve 600 security guards and 400 police officers, with a buffer zone established between the fan sections. A special banner honoring reservists will also be displayed, adding to the expenses. Authorities have currently prohibited the use of smoke bombs and large flags due to concerns over flares, a directive that has not changed.

Additionally, the League Management has unveiled a new, modern design for the Toto Cup trophy. Standing 50 cm tall, the trophy's design is said to be reminiscent of the Europa League trophy, featuring unique textures and sharp lines intended to reflect the dynamic nature of the game. The creators stated that the design draws inspiration from leading international football trophies, incorporating a contemporary Israeli interpretation.
