Israel's Ministry of Health has issued a warning regarding thousands of stolen packages of hyaluronic acid injection products, fearing their illegal marketing and use. The packages were stolen from the warehouses of companies AlphaMedix Ltd. and OmegaMedix Ltd. approximately one month ago. The stolen products include various brands containing hyaluronic acid, such as Radiesse, Stylage Special Lips Lido, Stylage XL Lido, Stylage L, Stylage M Lido, Stylage L Lido, and Stylage XXL Mepi.

The primary concern is that these products may be sold to aesthetic treatment clinics, private physicians, and other medical professionals. The ministry highlighted that proper storage and transportation conditions are crucial for these injection materials, and due to the theft, it is unknown if these conditions were maintained. Consequently, using the stolen products could lead to adverse side effects and health risks.

The Ministry of Health urged patients to ensure that any treatments they receive are performed with products from regulated and supervised sources.
