A court in Petah Tikva on Wednesday, October 28, authorized the release of the personal details of three individuals suspected of severe abuse against toddlers at a private daycare in Ariel. The suspects are Natalia Kislevski, the daycare's head, and two assistant caregivers, Darina Khalufa and Anna Pagalsky. The court's decision to unseal their identities was based on compelling evidence linking them to the alleged crimes, citing a significant public interest in protecting young children from further violence.
The police investigation has uncovered hundreds of alleged incidents of abuse. According to case materials, the suspects are accused of suffocating, gagging, slapping, and throwing the children. Kislevski is implicated in 18 specific episodes of abuse and was allegedly present during five other attacks.
Parents became aware of the abuse after an instructor at the daycare reported an "exceptional incident" to the police. Law enforcement sources claim the abuse occurred constantly, multiple times a day, with one investigator describing the facility as "Satan's chambers."
Parents Noam Harlevi and Hila Feigin, who have reviewed the investigation files, expressed deep emotional pain. Former Knesset member Oren Hazan, whose two children attended the daycare, called it one of the most severe child abuse cases in Israeli history. He detailed allegations including children being tied up, having their faces covered to impede breathing, being thrown, slapped, and starved. Hazan noted that the daycare was highly sought after and that staff allegedly concealed the abuse by sending parents photos of injured children with explanations that they had simply fallen.
Hazan described video footage of the abuse as "speechless" and warned that the full extent of the horrors would shock the nation when surveillance recordings are released. Parents are anticipating the publication of these recordings, which they believe will further expose the extent of the mistreatment.
