Crystal Palace is reportedly considering Robbie Keane, a former Maccabi Tel Aviv player, as a candidate to replace current coach Pierre Sasse. The team has had a poor start to the Premier League season, accumulating only 7 points from a possible 24 in their first eight matches, placing them 17th in the league, just above the relegation zone.

Sasse's future at the club is uncertain due to the team's performance. English media have begun speculating about potential replacements, with Keane's name emerging. Keane previously coached Ferencváros and was also a candidate for the Tottenham Hotspur job, which did not materialize.

Other names reportedly in contention for the Crystal Palace coaching position include Sean Dyche, Thomas Frank, and Vitor Pereira. The club is reportedly weighing whether to appoint a younger, energetic coach or someone with established experience in the English top flight. The article notes that Anan Khalaili is an Israeli defender on the team.
