Crystal Palace is enduring a difficult start to the Premier League season, having secured only 7 points from a possible 24 in their first eight matches. This poor performance places the team 17th in the league standings, just one point above the relegation zone. Consequently, the position of current coach Pierre Sasse is highly uncertain, with his departure from the club appearing increasingly likely.

As the club considers potential replacements, English media outlets have begun compiling a list of candidates. Among the names being discussed for the managerial role are Sean Dyche, Thomas Frank, and Vitor Pereira. Notably, the list also includes Robbie Keane, a figure well-known to Israeli football fans from his time playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Keane's previous coaching experience includes a stint with Ferencváros, and he was also a candidate for the Tottenham Hotspur job, though that opportunity did not materialize. He may now be on the verge of taking over at Selhurst Park. The club is reportedly weighing whether to appoint a young, energetic coach or an experienced manager with a proven track record in England's top flight.
