The investigation, conducted with the accompaniment of the Tax and Economic Crimes Prosecution, focused on suspicions of a corrupt arrangement between the two.
According to investigators, Naveh allegedly facilitated Orenstein's appointment as president of the Tel Aviv District Court. In return, Naveh is suspected of arranging for Judge Dalia Ganot to be transferred from her position in the court's compensation claims department.
All investigation materials have been transferred to the Tax and Economic Crimes Prosecution for review and a decision on potential indictments.
