The investigation, overseen by the Tax and Economic Crimes Prosecution, focused on suspicions of a corrupt relationship between the two.
Investigators suspect Naveh acted to advance Orenstein's appointment as President of the Tel Aviv District Court. In return, Naveh allegedly sought the transfer of Judge Dalia Gannot from her position in the court's torts department. Following the completion of investigative actions, all case materials have been transferred to the Tax and Economic Crimes Prosecution for review and decision.
