Maccabi Tel Aviv has received a significant offer for player Roman Sorkin from Spanish club Baskonia, according to Channel Sport. Baskonia, currently last in the EuroLeague standings with a 7-1 record after a recent loss to Real Madrid, is looking to bolster its roster. The Spanish team is coached by Paolo Galbiati, who joined in August of last year. Despite a poor start in the EuroLeague, Baskonia has performed better domestically, holding a 2:3 record and third place in their league behind Tenerife and Real Madrid. Last season, Baskonia was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Maccabi Tel Aviv is currently ranked 18th in the EuroLeague, tied with Milan and Bayern Munich with a 6:2 record. Sorkin's potential move comes as Baskonia seeks to improve its standing in the European competition.
