With less than eight hours until the Channel 14 election poll is released, pollster Shlomo Filber stated that unusually high voter turnout is expected to significantly alter the projected seat distribution in the Knesset. Filber, responsible for the poll set to be published at 10:00 PM, revealed in an interview that the elevated participation rates observed across Israel are likely to cause a substantial shift from the channel's last survey released on Thursday.

Filber emphasized that the final results will be different, noting a significant awakening among all sectors of the population. "If there was a dilemma whether there would be participation or no participation, then by understatement, one can say that the public in Israel is not indifferent, and this includes all sectors," he said.

He detailed that the increase in turnout is not confined to a single political camp, with higher participation observed among the Arab sector, left-wing concentrations, right-wing concentrations, and the Haredi community. Filber explained that his team is monitoring data from the Central Elections Committee and integrating it with their own measurement tools.

The pollster suggested that the implications could include a real change in the allocation of Knesset seats, potentially impacting smaller parties' chances of crossing the electoral threshold and redistributing their votes among the larger parties. Filber reiterated that the results will "certainly be different, they will be different" from previous polls, but cautioned that a clearer picture would only emerge after all data is processed in the coming hours.
