Avi Shoshan and Lior Dayan, participants in the new season of the reality show "Survivor," took advantage of the Knesset election day to send a joint message to the Israeli public. Shoshan, a panelist on Channel 14's "HaPatriotim" and former spokesperson for Ichilov Hospital, posted a joint photo with Dayan on his Instagram account, calling for national unity. "On this day of democracy, let's remember, no matter the results, we will never let any politician divide us, and we both hope that a broad unity government will be formed after the elections to heal the rifts and repair Israeli society," Shoshan wrote.

Shoshan has had a turbulent few days. Channel 14 decided to suspend his participation in "HaPatriotim" due to his simultaneous appearance on Reshet 13's "Survivor." He will not appear on Channel 14 while his participation in the reality show is being broadcast. Additionally, Shoshan was involved in a public dispute with media personality Karin Gideon, who brought up their past conflict from his time as Ichilov spokesperson. Gideon criticized him following his appearance on "Survivor's" premiere, and Shoshan responded with a series of sharp stories.

Meanwhile, the new season of "Survivor," hosted by Guy Zuarz, has opened with strong viewership numbers. The premiere episode garnered 17% rating and 535,000 viewers, surpassing "The Masked Singer" on Keshet 12, which had 16.3% and 441,000 viewers. The second episode, aired the following day, saw a decrease in viewership to 13.4% rating and 402,000 viewers, placing it second behind "The Masked Singer," which achieved 15.4% and 449,000 viewers. Despite the drop, these are significant numbers for Reshet 13, which continues to benefit from the interest in the new season.
