In the final hours before polling stations opened, associates of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu engaged in a frantic effort to persuade the "Noam L'Yisrael" party to withdraw from the upcoming elections, aiming to prevent a loss of votes for the national camp. The attempts included canceling a meeting between a Likud representative and Rabbi Tav at the last minute, a phone call from Netanyahu to Rabbi Shternberg, and a stern message conveyed to Likud ministers from Avi Maoz and his party.

On Saturday night, Lior Katzav, Netanyahu's representative, was en route to a meeting with Rabbi Tav, carrying proposals related to education, a key issue for the Noam party. However, approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting, Rabbi Tav's associates canceled it. The Likud did not abandon their efforts, and on Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke by phone with Rabbi Shternberg, the head of the Har HaMor yeshiva. Rabbi Shternberg's response was that Noam L'Yisrael would continue in the race.

Throughout Monday, representatives of the Prime Minister, along with Likud ministers, continued to contact Avi Maoz and Rabbi Tav's associates in an attempt to secure their withdrawal from the elections. The message conveyed was that they were committed to running until the end. Approximately 7,000 workers are expected to arrive for vote counting, anticipating a tense election night.
