Emergency medical services responded to a report of a man who collapsed inside a taxi. Paramedics and EMTs from Hatzalah United and MDA (Medical Emergency Services) found the man in the taxi without a pulse or breathing. The driver stated the collapse was sudden and occurred during the ride.

Paramedics Avraham Ahrentroy, Chizki Cohen, and Gershon Genaor of Hatzalah United described the passenger as having lost consciousness. They performed CPR, administering an electric shock from a defibrillator. After his pulse returned, he was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in serious but stable condition. They credited the rapid response with saving his life.

Paramedic Zohar Maman and EMT Moti Notis from "Tzevet Hatzala" added that upon arrival, they found the 47-year-old man unresponsive. Working with other MDA paramedics, they immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including electric shocks, chest compressions, and artificial respiration. "By God's grace," they stated, his pulse returned, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital's trauma unit for further treatment.
