Corinne Gideon Slams Former Ichilov Spokesperson on Reality Show

Media personality Corinne Gideon has reignited a public dispute from five years ago with Avi Shoshan, the former spokesperson for Ichilov Hospital and now a personality on Channel 14, following his participation in the new season of the reality show "Survivor." Gideon posted on social media that Shoshan is "the villain of the season," referencing a past confrontation over her hospitalization conditions after giving birth to her first daughter.

Gideon wrote that it was a shame Shoshan was not fired before she gave birth to her daughter Haim, stating he was responsible for Ichilov Hospital facing criticism regarding a "window incident." She also shared a message she received from Shoshan in August 2024, which she described as an apology, thanking him for it.

The original incident occurred in January 2021, shortly after Gideon gave birth. She had publicly criticized the hospitalization conditions at Ichilov, specifically a windowless internal room where she stayed. This led to a public confrontation with Shoshan, who was the hospital's spokesperson at the time.

Shoshan left his position at Ichilov in November 2023. This followed controversy surrounding a press conference held by Yocheved Lifshitz, a hostage released by Hamas, who described her captivity conditions. Shoshan, involved in organizing the event, was summoned for a hearing before his eventual departure from the hospital. His current appearance on "Survivor" has brought the past dispute with Gideon back into public discussion.
