Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly considering Killian Hayes as a potential guard to strengthen their roster, following the injury of Ify Lundberg. The Israeli basketball club may enter negotiations with the 25-year-old player, who has not played since April. Hayes was traded to the Oklahoma City Blue, the G League affiliate of the Thunder, two weeks ago. This G League trade allows Hayes to sign with any team, not necessarily an NBA team. Last season, Noam Yaakov was drafted into the G League but played in Belgium instead. The Oklahoma City Blue acquired Hayes by forfeiting a G League draft pick and player Zach Austin, securing the option to keep Hayes for another G League season. In the past two seasons, Hayes began in the G League and subsequently found an NBA team. Last year, he averaged 22.1 points and 6.8 assists per game for the Cleveland Charge, where Yaakov will play this upcoming season.
