IDF Kills Hamas Operative Involved in October 7 Attack
The IDF said it struck southern Gaza earlier this week and killed Akram Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Madi, a Hamas military wing operative. According to the military, Abu Madi took part in the October 7 assault into Israeli territory.
The IDF added that in recent times he had been trying to help rebuild Hamas and advance terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The army said forces under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in line with the agreement.
The IDF said it will continue acting to remove any threat.
