Netanyahu Meets UAE President in Abu Dhabi to Boost Ties

Israel and the United Arab Emirates officially confirmed on Monday evening that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday during Netanyahu's visit to the UAE. The official Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen ties.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu visited the UAE with his wife. The visit focused on strengthening relations between the two countries and addressing regional challenges. Key Israeli officials, including the National Security Advisor, the head of the Mossad intelligence agency, the Military Secretary, and the diplomatic advisor, also participated in the meetings.

The Prime Minister's Office denied a report published by the Associated Press (AP) claiming that Netanyahu had asked bin Zayed to deny warning him before the October 7th attacks. The Prime Minister's Office called the AP report "fake news," stating that the visit was solely focused on enhancing relations and regional challenges.
