משטרת ירושלים ממשיכה בחקירת הרצח של פאטמה רג'בי, בת 61, תושבת מזרח ירושלים. היום (תאריך לא מצוין במקור) הוארך מעצרו של החשוד ברצח, גבר בשנות ה-60 לחייו, גם הוא תושב מזרח העיר, עד ל-1 באוקטובר 2026. בית משפט השלום בירושלים נענה לבקשת המשטרה והאריך את מעצרו של החשוד. המשטרה הדגישה כי החקירה בפרשה נמשכת.
