Elijah Bryant Ranks Maccabi Tel Aviv in EuroLeague Tier D

Elijah Bryant, a star player for Hapoel Tel Aviv, has released his personal power rankings for the upcoming EuroLeague season, placing his own team in the top tier while ranking Maccabi Tel Aviv in a significantly lower category. Bryant, who shared his analysis on YouTube, divided all 20 EuroLeague teams into five tiers.

Bryant placed Hapoel Tel Aviv in Tier A, alongside Panathinaikos and Olympiacos. He then positioned Maccabi Tel Aviv in Tier D, a group that included seven other teams. "They have Yam Madar, Alexeyey Surkin, Bonzi Colson is back. It's solid," Bryant commented on Maccabi's roster.

He also addressed the departure of Tamir Blatt from Maccabi, noting his significant contributions. "Tamir left the team and he did so much for this team. His passing ability, his long-range shooting. In offense you want to spread the floor and in defense you want to shrink the court. Him shooting from long range so much helps them spread the floor and he also finds everyone with many assists. I want to see how it will work for them," Bryant stated.

Bryant's full ranking places Hapoel, Panathinaikos, and Olympiacos in Tier A. Tier B includes Fenerbahce and Real Madrid. Tier C features Anadolu Efes, Dubai, and Crvena Zvezda. Tier D, where Maccabi was placed, also includes Barcelona, Partizan, Milan, Valencia, Besiktas, Zalgiris, and Bayern. Finally, Tier E consists of Villeurbanne, Paris, Baskonia, and Bologna.
