Elijah Bryant Ranks Maccabi Tel Aviv in EuroLeague Tier D

Elijah Bryant, a star player for Hapoel Tel Aviv, has released his personal power rankings for the upcoming EuroLeague basketball season, placing his own team in the top tier while ranking Maccabi Tel Aviv in a significantly lower category.

Bryant, who shared his analysis on YouTube, designated Hapoel Tel Aviv, Panathinaikos, and Olympiacos to Tier A. He placed Maccabi Tel Aviv in Tier D, alongside seven other teams, including Barcelona and Partizan. Bryant acknowledged Maccabi's roster additions, noting "They have Yam Madar, Sorokin, Bonzi is back. It's solid."

However, Bryant focused on the departure of Tamir Blatt from Maccabi, questioning how the team will adapt. "Tamir left the team and he did so much for this team. His passing ability, his long-range shooting. In offense you want to spread out and in defense to shrink the game. The fact that he shoots from long range so much helps them spread the game and he also finds everyone with many assists. I want to see how it will work for them," Bryant stated.

Bryant's full ranking placed Fenerbahce and Real Madrid in Tier B, and Anadolu Efes, Dubai, and Crvena Zvezda in Tier C. The lowest tier, Tier E, included Villeurbanne, Paris, Baskonia, and Bologna.
